Online Spanish courses for teenagers, young adults, and adults at CCAA
Live en línea Spanish classes for teenagers from 12 years old, young adults, and adults take place in the remote classroom twice a week for 1 hour, or once a week for 2 hours (with a 15-minute break) during the first seven course levels. In the last two course levels, CCAA students have classes lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Additionally, in some units, teenagers from 15 years old, young adults, and adults with an intermediate level of Spanish can take the Redacción course, which is designed for those who already have a solid grasp of the language and want to improve their writing skills, learning to compose dissertative, argumentative, descriptive, and narrative texts coherently and concisely, without language flaws. The classes are also available live online or in person, once a week, lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the course is completed in just one semester.

At the end of CCAA’s live online Spanish course, you will be ready to take important exams, such as the DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera - Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language).

Learning journey
The learning journey, which includes activities and experiences in a virtual classroom according to the challenges of each stage, is divided into three levels that help you meet your goals, achieving the fluency and confidence in speaking this new language. Check out the four blocks that make up this journey!
Basic
in the Basic level, you learn how to greet people, talk on the phone, use public transportation, ask for and provide personal information, shop, express satisfaction or dissatisfaction, and many other discoveries that provide you with the foundation for the language and the identification with Spanish.
Intermediate
at this stage, you learn how to express your opinion clearly, ask for and give directions, describe people, talk about future events, and more achievements for your development.
Advanced
in the final stage, you further expand your Spanish skills, refining conversation, writing, and reading abilities through debates on historical events, legends, customs, and culture of the Spanish-speaking world.

This course is perfect for anyone who is learningthe language or wants to improve their English conversation skills.To join, you don’t need to be a CCAA student, but you must speak at least intermediate levelEnglish, proven by our oral and written placement test. However, if you’re already a CCAAstudent, you can enroll in these conversation classes at any point during your course.CCAA’s live and in- person English conversation classes take place four times a month, with one-hour sessions each week. CCAA’s Spanish course is a hybrid model. So, you can attend either live online classes from home, or in-person classes at your local unit. And always in the same group, on the same days and times, using the same methodology. Depending on availability only.
How long are the live online classes?
They have the same duration as the in-person Spanish courses at CCAA. That is because you remain in the same group throughout the semester. However, you can choose each session whether to attend online or in-person (subject to availability).
How many students are in an online Spanish course at CCAA?
Each virtual classroom at CCAA has only 15 students, as it is the ideal number for everyone to get the most out of it.
What platform is used for live online Spanish classes at CCAA?
To study from home, you only need internet access and a free download of the Zoom videoconference software on your phone, tablet, laptop, or computer.
Are the assessments for the live online Spanish course virtual?
