Do I need any prior English knowledge to enroll in the English Course?
It is not necessary. The adult English course classes are classified according to the level of knowledge of the language. There are 4 fluency blocks, totaling 11 levels. The 1st level is for those who have no prior knowledge of the language. To find your ideal level, you must take the CCAA Placement Test. It’s free and consists of online and oral tests with one of our teachers.
What skills will I develop in the English Course?
The English course is designed for adults to gradually develop speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills in another language.
What are the class dynamics in the hybrid format?
In the hybrid format, the English classes for adults will be online and live. They will take place on the same days and times as the in-person classes. Whenever students opt for this format, they will have the same teacher and the same group as the in-person students. These students can also choose to attend classes elsewhere whenever they wish.
Where can I watch the live online English classes?
The live online English classes are broadcast through a user-friendly app, free for students. Through Zoom Cloud Meetings®, the student has full access to the adult English course. Access can be done on a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. CCAA provides installation and usage manuals at the time of enrollment.
What is the quality of the live online English classes for adults?
The teaching quality will be the same as in-person. Students opting for the live online classes will feel as if they were in the classroom. With the same teacher’s guidance, interaction with the group, and lots of real-time conversation.
Will the English classes for adults be recorded?
No. Therefore, students opting for live online English classes must be connected on class days and times.
How are students evaluated during the in-person English Course
In the adult English course, the student undergoes tests during the course (written partial) and at the end (written and oral).
How will the evaluations work for students in the hybrid format?
As with the classes, the evaluations for adult English course students in hybrid mode can be either online live or in-person. The approval criteria are the same as for the in-person format.
What learning materials are used in the English Course?
The learning material for the adult English course consists of the TB (Textbook), CW, and a smartphone app.
What learning materials will the students in the hybrid format of the online English course for adults use?
Students who choose the hybrid format will have the same learning material as in-person students of the English course. It will be purchased according to the course and level they are enrolled in.
Does the English Course offer a certificate?
Yes.
Do students in the hybrid format receive the same certificate as in-person students?
All students who take the English and/or Spanish courses, regardless of the format chosen, will receive the same certificate. The requirement is to meet the approval average for each course and level.
Does the adult English course offer an international certificate?
Não. Ao final do English Course você estará preparado(a) para realizar o TOEFL®ITP. Ele é gratuito para alunos CCAA e uma das mais importantes certificações internacionais da língua inglesa, aceita em universidades do Brasil e do exterior.
Are replacement, support, and reinforcement classes available for hybrid students?

CCAA has units across the country. Therefore, the price of the adult English course varies by region.
What is the schedule for the course?
CCAA has units across the country. The schedules of the adult English course vary by region.
What is the duration of the course?
Learning any language takes time. Therefore, be cautious of courses that promise fluency quickly. It requires hours of study and practice for you/your child to master the language. But, if you prefer, you or your child can learn at your own pace, with flexible schedules and an exclusive teacher. For this, we recommend VIP Classes, which can be taken individually, in pairs, in trios, or in groups of friends/family with the same learning goals.
Does CCAA have courses abroad? Can I take a module outside Brazil?
CCLS (Cultural Center for Language Studies) is CCAA abroad, with units in Orlando, New Jersey, Houston, and Miami, offering intensive English courses; semi-intensive English, Spanish and Portuguese courses; immersion programs in English, Spanish and Portuguese; as well as language programs for companies and private lessons.
What is the cost of the learning material?
CCAA’s learning material is exclusive and a reference in the language teaching market. Produced by a team of native English writers, it ensures an authentic immersion in the language and US culture. It allows you to act and communicate naturally, almost like a resident.
What are the fluency levels at CCAA?
At CCAA, you can progress from the basic level (A1) to the master level (C2), according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Can I take the course in the in-company format?
Yes. The adult English course can be taught in-company. It’s the efficiency of CCAA English within your company, following the availability and needs of the team.
