At CCAA, students go from basic to advanced in 6 levels and attain fluency faster with the quality that has been proven for generations.

The format of your course may vary in accordance with the results of your placement test.

AT CCAA, STUDENTS LIVE AND SPEAK THE LANGUAGE IN A WAY THAT IS IMMERSIVE AND NATURAL

Each class combines communication in real-life situations with current subjects in Spanish speaking countries, enabling students to develop, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills with confidence from the very beginning.

At each stage you move closer to your goals, from the pride of starting to speak a new language to the confidence to take important proficiency exams and achieve better academic and professional opportunities.

Basic

With each step you take in Spanish, you identify more with the new language. In the Basic level, you experience your first achievements, such as greeting people, talking on the phone, using public transportation, asking for and providing personal information, shopping, expressing satisfaction or dissatisfaction, and many other discoveries.

The classes are held live online or in-person*. For the first seven levels*, twice a week, lasting 1 hour; or once a week, lasting 2 hours (with a 15-minute break). In the last two levels, classes last 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Intermediate

At this stage, you will continue to progress. It’s time to learn how to express your opinion clearly, ask for and give directions, describe people, talk about future events, and much more achievements.

The classes are held live online or in-person*. For the first seven levels*, twice a week, lasting 1 hour; or once a week, lasting 2 hours (with a 15-minute break). In the last two levels, classes last 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Advanced

In this final stage, you further expand your knowledge of Spanish, and refine your conversation, writing, and reading abilities through debates on historical events, legends, customs, and culture of the Spanish-speaking world. At the end of Español, you will be ready to take important exams, such as the DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera - Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language).

The classes are held live online or in-person*. For the first seven levels*, twice a week, lasting 1 hour; or once a week, lasting 2 hours (with a 15-minute break). In the last two levels, classes last 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Three stages of learning at CCAA

Start by listening, understanding, and speaking
From the very first class, you are encouraged to communicate in Spanish all the time through exercises that simulate real-life situations experienced by American teenagers. First, you listen, understand, and speak. Then, you read and write.
Live the language
Everything learned in class is meant to be applied outside the course, reinforcing knowledge in both short- and long-term memory.
Master the language
In class, you’ll be fully immersed in Spanish—listening, speaking, reading, and writing from startto finish. It’s no surprise that, before you know it, you’re naturally talking about a wide range oftopics.
