        The Teachers’ Course lasts 6 months, with a total of 40 lessons distributed between two inseparable components: Language Component and Didactics Component. The lessons last 1h30 and are offered in a hybrid format.

        How does the course work?

        Language
        You will develop language proficiency, improving grammar, writing, and pronunciation, demonstrating confidence, dexterity, and skill in public speaking. You will also practice the technique of sharing knowledge, which are valuable skills in any professional field.
        Didactics

        You will practice the steps of the CCLS method and teach a class in a regular group to put the techniques into practice. You will also learn the concept of flipped classroom , allowing you to study content and complete exercises beforehand, using the class time to clarify doubts and practice the studied topic.

        Yes. To join the Teachers' Course, the CCAA student must have completed level 11 of the English Course. Former CCAA students who have completed the English course can also join the Teachers’ Course. For those who completed studies at another institution, advanced language proficiency must be proven through written, listening, and oral assessments.
        The course is recommended for those who want to work as an English teacher at CCAA. It is also recommended for those who want to improve their public speaking skills and communication (oral, written, and non-verbal).

        Yes. Students will participate in a rotation, sometimes attending classes in person, other times attending live online classes, to develop the ability to engage both audiences in hybrid situations, such as a class or meeting.
        The live online classes of the Teachers’ Course can be attended via the Zoom Cloud Meetings® tool. This platform was chosen for its ease of use and compatibility with various devices (computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, as long as they have a microphone, webcam, and internet access). Its use is free for CCAA students, and installation and usage manuals are provided upon registration.
        The teaching quality will be the same as the in-person classes at CCAA franchises. On days when students attend live online classes, they will receive guidance from the same teacher and interact with the same classmates in real time, just like in the classroom.
        No. Therefore, when students are assigned to attend classes via Zoom, they must be connected on the scheduled days and times for in-person classes.
        In the Teachers’ Course, students are evaluated through activities, participation in classes, written exams, and a practical exam at the end of the course.
        Yes. Students who opt to take the written exams live online will use CCAA's online exam tool – POLAV, except for the Didactics practical exam.
